Are wire ropes of the same specification and model from different manufacturers the same as those from lay length? If there is a difference, what is the error?

The lay length of steel wire rope is the long distance of 360-degree helix of strand rope. Take the steel core 6*36 watt structure as an example, the lay length may be different, which is generally 6.5 times or 6.3 or 6.7 times the diameter of the steel wire rope, depending on the technological requirements or equipment capacity. Moreover, with the gradual wear and tear of the wire rope in use, the lay length will gradually increase and become longer.

At present, the most advanced technology for manufacturing steel wire rope is manganese phosphating wear-resistant coated steel wire rope. The steel wire of this wire rope has a manganese phosphating film of 15-30g/m2, which belongs to the wear-resistant protective coating in surface treatment technology and can prevent fretting wear and corrosion of the wire rope. The effect is better than oiling the wire rope every day, and the service life is very long. Just because it is a patented technology, there are too few manufacturers at present, and it is difficult to buy it. Domestic manganese phosphating wear-resistant coated steel wire rope is smooth.
