Porsche cooperated with TriEye to integrate short-wave infrared sensing technology into ADAS and autopilot system.

Israeli technology startup TriEye will cooperate with German automobile manufacturer Porsche to further innovate its short-wave infrared (SWIR) sensing technology to further improve the performance of advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) and self-driving cars developed by TriEye.

SWIR sensing technology developed by p>TriEye is used to improve visibility in bad weather and night conditions. this technology is mainly used to provide guidance for self-driving cars in low visibility situations, because the low visibility situation will make the automatic driving system unable to work normally.
