Is Chinese more valuable or English more valuable?

Cultural comparison: China's spoken and written language has developed for more than 5,000 years, and its connotation is that English can't be compared with some languages at all. That is to say, the value of Chinese can exceed that of English. It is precisely because Chinese is so extensive and profound that it is very difficult and troublesome to learn and understand, while English is relatively simple to learn, so English will be the most widely used language in the world. Now the world needs a language that everyone can learn quickly. Obviously, it is impossible for foreigners to learn to speak Chinese, and English has become a common language because of its simplicity, which is more valuable for world communication than Chinese. On the other hand, if people in countries that have only experienced hundreds of years learn Chinese easily, wouldn't our country's 5000-year history be devalued? People all over the world speak Chinese. Are we still a big country with a cultural history of 5000 years? Therefore, I personally think that it is better to speak English in the world, so that the unique language and culture of our great nation can be well preserved.
