The present situation of coal-fired industrial boilers in China is not optimistic. First, the pollution is very serious. The pulverized coal industrial boiler can be started and stopped immediately, reducing the fuel loss during standing. According to preliminary calculation, if all the existing coal-fired industrial boilers are upgraded with pulverized coal boiler technology, about 200 million tons of coal can be saved every year, and at the same time, about 3 million tons of sulfur dioxide, 300,000 tons of dust, 30 million tons of waste residue and 500 million tons of carbon dioxide can be reduced every year, which is expected to greatly improve urban air quality.

In addition, in order to effectively reduce the pollution emissions of coal-fired industrial boilers, improve the operating efficiency of boilers, and guide the healthy and orderly development of coal-fired industrial boilers, the state has also issued a series of plans and policies, all of which put forward requirements for improving the energy efficiency and pollutant control of industrial boilers, such as the Outline of the National Medium-and Long-Term Science and Technology Development Plan (2006-2020), the Medium-and Long-Term Special Plan for Energy Conservation, and the Regional Improvement on Promoting Joint Prevention and Control of Air Pollution. The new technology of high-efficiency pulverized coal industrial boiler has produced and installed10.2 million tons of steaming equipment in Shanxi, Xinjiang, Ningxia, Inner Mongolia, Yunnan and other places, and more than 8,000 tons of steaming equipment have been put into operation. It mainly involves two categories: building heating and steam for industrial production.

After identification, all technical indicators have reached the international advanced level.
