Tongren Vocational and Technical College was approved by Guizhou Provincial People's Government in June, 2002, and it is a provincial public full-time college.
The history of running a school can be traced back to the Agriculture Department of Jiangkou Branch of No.3 Middle School, founded by the National Government during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, 1938. In 2002, Tongren's agricultural schools, health schools, financial schools, commercial schools and advanced vocational schools were merged and established, and upgraded to ordinary colleges and universities at the junior college level. 20 15 12 16 became a university established by the state ethnic affairs commission and the people's government of Guizhou province. From 2065438 to August 2007, the College was selected as the second batch of national modern apprenticeship pilot units.
As of February 20 16, the new campus of the school covers an area of 1 160 mu, with 13 secondary school branches and 50 higher vocational majors. There are 802 faculty members, 4 1 full-time teachers, 0/54 associate senior teachers, and more than 30,000 full-time students. ?
