Are sodium silicate and steam of water toxic?
Sodium silicate (Na2SiO3) is also called sodium silicate and sodium silicate (xNa2O. YSiO2), colorless, turquoise or brown solid or viscous liquid. As an adhesive, sodium silicate is widely used in cardboard (corrugated) cartons. Silicon-aluminum catalyst for petroleum catalytic cracking, filler for soap, adhesive for corrugated paper, metal preservative, water softener, detergent additive, refractory and ceramic raw materials, textile bleaching, dyeing and sizing, mineral processing in mines, waterproofing, plugging, wood fire prevention, food preservation and adhesive preparation. The steam of sodium silicate and water is not toxic!
