He presided over the development of early fire characteristics experimental platform, small-scale flashover experimental platform and small-scale smoke and poison migration combined experimental platform. A more accurate one-dimensional pyrolysis model of cellulose materials under the condition of constant heat flux is proposed and further extended to the pyrolysis model under the condition of variable heat flux. The influence of scale effect on radiation ignition of combustible solid materials is revealed. A comprehensive criterion of wood ignition under the condition of linear variable heat flux is put forward. The catastrophe theory is applied to the study of special fire phenomena, and a nonlinear dynamic model of liquid tempering phenomenon is proposed. It is found that the concentration of smoke poison in a long distance is higher than that near the fire source under a specific building structure. A new "RRC" dynamic model describing the toxic hazard of fire smoke is established. A "total risk map" reflecting the real fire scene is proposed, and the concept of vision is introduced. A cellular automata model and a multi-agent personnel behavior model considering the influence of fire smoke on evacuation are established.
