Ink-jet printers turn colored liquid ink into fine particles through nozzles and spray them on printing paper. Some inkjet printers have three or four printing nozzles to print four colors of yellow, magenta, cyan and black, and some use one nozzle to print four colors.
Inkjet printers need to go through a series of complicated procedures when printing images. When the printer nozzle sweeps the printing paper quickly, countless nozzles on it will spray countless small ink drops, thus forming pixels in the image. On the printer head, there are usually 48 or more independent nozzles that spray different colors of ink.
