In order to measure DC voltage, we must first ensure that the coupling mode of the channel is in DC state. If the battery voltage is relatively low, the attenuation ratio of the probe is generally 1X, and the vertical gear is set to 1V or 500mv.
Then ensure that the trigger mode of the oscilloscope is in the automatic state.
Make sure that the battery has electricity or DC voltage has voltage output, connect the probe to the battery or DC positive electrode, and connect the probe clip (i.e. ground terminal) to the battery or DC negative electrode. Of course, the reverse doesn't matter, that is, when the waveform is displayed, it will be below the zero level of the oscilloscope. Open the oscilloscope to measure the average value of the project, and you can see the DC voltage value.
As shown above, we tested a battery with a voltage of1.6V. Note that the DC signal has no curve waveform, but it can be seen as a straight line on the oscilloscope.
