In 1969, Jiangxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine established the school-run enterprise Hongqi Pharmaceutical Factory, which was later renamed Jiangxi Jiangzhong Pharmaceutical Factory.
In June 1998, Jiangzhong Pharmaceutical Factory, which is affiliated with Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Dongfeng Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., which is affiliated with Jiangxi Pharmaceutical State-owned Assets Corporation, carried out asset reorganization and jointly established Jiangxi Jiangzhong Pharmaceutical (Group) Co., Ltd. company.
In March 2002, the listed company Jiangxi Dongfeng Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. officially changed its name to Jiangxi Jiangzhong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and the stock abbreviation was changed to "Jiangzhong Pharmaceutical".
In September 2002, Jiangzhong Group invested and established Hengsheng Food Industry Co., Ltd.
In September 2002, Hengsheng Food Industry Company and a subsidiary of Ningxia Agricultural Reclamation Group jointly established Ningxia Hengsheng Xixiawang Wine Industry Co., Ltd. and Jiangxi Hengsheng Xixiawang Trading Co., Ltd.
In September 2002, Jiangzhong Real Estate Company, a real estate company affiliated to the group company, successfully launched the high-end real estate Jiangzhong Garden in Nanchang. Since then, the business scope of Jiangzhong Group has expanded from pharmaceuticals to health food and real estate.
In December 2002, with the approval of the former National Development Planning Commission and other four ministries and commissions, the National Engineering Research Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine Solid Preparation Manufacturing Technology invested by the Group was established. It is one of the first four national engineering research centers in the traditional Chinese medicine industry. It is also the first national-level engineering research center in Jiangxi Province and the only national engineering research center among traditional Chinese medicine colleges in the country.
In July 2003, Jiangzhong Medicine Valley, which covers an area of ??more than 2,800 acres and has domestic first-class production level and scale, was successfully put into operation. The group's pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, production capacity and product quality have become first-class in the industry.
In September 2003, the group launched its first health food "Qinong" fruit wine to the market.
In 2003, the group established the Military Science Fund Center. In December of the same year, the National Proteome Research Center was established in Zhongguancun Life Science Park with the Academy of Military Medical Sciences. The center is a world-class proteomics research platform and will actively undertake major and key proteomics research and development projects for the central government, local governments, domestic and foreign enterprises and scientific research institutions.
In May 2004, the Jiangxi Provincial People's Government designated Jiangzhong Pharmaceutical (Group) Co., Ltd. as one of the first batch of 20 state-owned enterprises and placed it under the supervision of the Jiangxi Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. The company changed from a school-run enterprise to a provincial key enterprise.
In August 2004, the group successfully reorganized Jiangxi Paper Co., Ltd. and became the only enterprise in Jiangxi Province with two listed companies.
In April 2005, the group headquarters moved into the Jiangzhong Building located in Nanchang High-tech Development Zone. This move heralded a huge improvement in the group's corporate image and scale, and also indicated a new trend of Jiangzhong Group. The beginning of a new round of entrepreneurship.
In November 2005, after 11 years of joint research, the Group and the Academy of Military Medical Sciences developed a new drug against AIDS and hepatitis B virus that has independent intellectual property rights and has been patented in the United States and China. and has been approved by the State Food and Drug Administration to enter clinical research, bringing good news to patients with AIDS and hepatitis B.
