Motor longitudinal differential protection

Motor longitudinal differential protection will not produce unbalanced current because of the long distance between power supply and motor!

However, because the characteristics of current transformers on both sides are not completely consistent, unbalanced current will also occur, so this part of differential current must be considered when calculating the fixed value. Because the differential protection device has the characteristic of ratio braking, as long as the differential protection setting value is calculated reasonably, such differential current will not cause the device to malfunction!
