Gu Jingzhou, formerly known as Jingzhou. Nicknames: Manxi, Wuling Yi people, Jingnan Mountain Bridge. Self-styled Hu Lao and Lao Ping. Gu Jingzhou is recognized as the first famous teapot artist and one of the contemporary purple sand seven old.
2. Xu Xiutang came second.
Xu Xiutang, 1937, is from Shushan, Yixing. 1954 studied zisha pottery carving from Ren Ganting, a famous old artist of zisha pottery carving. 1955, joined Shushan Ceramic Cooperative with Hu Rough's father. Later, Xu Xiutang began to study colored sculptures, and only 1959 began to create pottery sculptures, mainly purple sand sculptures.
3. Lv Yaochen came third.
Lv Yaochen, born in 194 1, is a master of arts and crafts in China. He studied under Hu Yi master Wu Yungen, and later under Zhu Kexin, Gu Jingzhou and other famous artists. He was known as "Lu Zhu" first, then learned from others and made bold innovations, forming a unique "Lu". He also founded a school and created the technology of "twisting mud", which is called "pot magician".
4. Wang Yinxian ranks fourth.
Wang Yinxian was admitted to Yixing Zisha Craft Factory on 1956, studied under Wu Yungen, Jiang Rong, Zhu Zheyun Kexin and Pei Shimin, and entered the Institute on 1973, studied under Gu Jingzhou. In 2006, he was awarded the inheritor of intangible cultural heritage and outstanding inheritor of folk art and culture.
5. Xu Hantang is the fifth.
Xu Hantang, 1932 May 1 1, was born in Yixing, Jiangsu. In the early 1950 s, he became a proud disciple of Mr. Gu under the guidance of contemporary purple sand masters. He has a solid foundation, is good at copying traditional products, is good at innovation, and is unique in process modeling. He is good at ice crack decoration, and his works are like ice and jade. He is especially good at making all kinds of miniature pots. Every word is called "Han Tang pot".
