Research Status of College of Life Science and Technology of Guangxi University

The teaching and research area of the college (including key laboratories) is 7,600 square meters, and there are 60 sets of large and medium-sized instruments and equipment, with a total value of 3 1 10,000 yuan. There are 2080 books and materials in the college reference room. The college signed agreements with five enterprises as the internship training base of the college.

Since 2003, teachers in our college have undertaken 5 1 scientific research projects, including 26 national projects, including 2 key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, 1 key scientific and technological project 1, 1 outstanding youth fund 1 and 3 general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation. There are 2 national "863" plan projects 1 1, 2 national "973" subprojects, and 4 international cooperation projects 1. In 2003, Israel won the second prize 1 and the third prize 1 at the provincial and ministerial level. Guangxi Science and Technology Department organized experts to appraise five achievements. Obtained 3 national invention patents. In recent three years, 9 1 paper was published, among which1paper was included in SCI.

The development of College of Life Science and Technology of Guangxi University has been concerned and supported by school leaders and all walks of life. The school plans to build a 20,000-square-meter teaching building of the College of Life Science and Technology and a training base building of the State Key Laboratory of the Provincial Department, which will provide a more favorable environment for the discipline construction and personnel training of the College. Under the leadership of the school, the college will further emancipate its mind, renew its ideas and make great efforts to make greater contributions to the progress of life science, the economic construction of the country and Guangxi and the development of the school in the 2 1 century.
