Pharmacological and Toxicological Study on Hemocoagulase from Agkistrodon acutus for Injection
Pharmacological action Agkistrodon acutus venom hemagglutination enzyme is a hemostatic agent, which can improve the coagulation function of the body by hydrolyzing fibrinogen into fibrin. The results of animal experiments show that the hemagglutination enzyme from Agkistrodon acutus venom can significantly shorten the bleeding time of mice and the coagulation time of rabbits' whole blood. Toxicological study on genotoxicity: Ames test, mouse bone marrow micronucleus test and CHL cell chromosome aberration test were all negative.
