Overall, Asia accounted for 53.7% of all PCT applications, compared with 35.7% before 10.

PCT applications are the most: Huawei ranks first.

According to the report, in the ranking of global enterprises' PCT patent applications, Huawei filed 5,464 PCT patent applications in China in 2020, ranking first for the fourth consecutive year. Patent applications account for more technical fields.

In the technical field with a high number of PCT patent applications, computer technology accounts for the largest proportion of published PCT applications, accounting for 9.2% of the total. Followed by digital communication (8.3%), medical technology (6.6%), motor (6.6%) and measurement (4.8%).

Before 2020, six of 10 technologies achieved double-digit growth, among which audio-visual technology had the highest growth rate, reaching 29.5% (8.7% last year), followed by digital communication (15.8%), computer technology (13.2%) and measurement (65433.
