Authentic: LV's factory has special machines and pigments to make LV's special leather. These are the brand secrets that LV has exclusive patents, so genuine bags have the unique smell of LV, but the smell will inevitably evaporate over time, so some second-hand medieval bags can no longer be identified by the smell.
Second, the sign
Authentic: The letters V and A on the embossed pickup truck are slightly longer than other letters, and the authentic letter O is close to one circle.
Imitation: the whole line of letters imitated for the second time is in a unified font.
Third, pressing the groove
Authentic: the color of the pressure groove is slightly darker than the surrounding leather, and the color is uneven. This is a natural effect caused by the specific machine, pressing time and machine temperature.
Imitation: The possible problem is that the pressing groove is too narrow and the depth of the groove is too shallow.
Fourth, leather.
Authentic: Brown Monogram presbyopia is not real animal skin, but a canvas coating material specially made by LV, which is more durable than ordinary animal skin. After the genuine leather is enlarged, the surface presents uniform particles.
Imitation: not uniform enough, too full,
Fifth, the oil edge
Authentic: the oil edge is elegant and brown-red, the oil seal is even, and the feel is round. After a period of use, it may not be as bright as the new product, but due to the influence of the user's hand temperature, it presents a more low-key unique luster.
Imitation: the color is often inaccurate, red or brown without texture, the edge of oil seal is sharp, and the feel is poor.
Sixth, hardware.
Authentic: the hardware adopts advanced gold plating technology, and the gold and copper are dark, not too bright. The LV words on the hardware are three-dimensional, neat and angular.
Imitation: it is often impossible to achieve a low-key texture. The hardware is particularly bright and shiny, with shallow lettering and rough workmanship.
Seven. serial number
Every LV product produced after 1980 has a unique serial number, just like a person's ID number. LV's factories are located in France, Italy, Spain, the United States and Germany, and different factories in each country have their own abbreviations. During the period from 1985 to 1988, the serial number has only three digits: the first two digits represent the year.
Starting from 1988, add the factory code to the serial number, and change the number to four digits. The first two digits represent the year, and the last two digits represent the month. For example, the serial number MI89 1 1 indicates that the package is from19891.
After 90 years, the serial number was adjusted again, and it was still the origin code+four digits, but it was a brand-new reading method. One or three numbers together represent the month, and two or four numbers together represent the year. For example, the serial number BA4 175 indicates that the package was produced in the 47th week of 20 15. Knowing the meaning of this serial number can help us quickly judge whether a bag is true or not.
