5. Crying at marriage, a bride getting married is a great joy, but in Quanzhou, the bride has to cry loudly when she gets married to show her sadness. From the night before the wedding day to the next day when you get on the sedan chair, the crying marriage reaches its climax. The crying and singing during this period must be carried out according to traditional etiquette, and no random crying is allowed. Anyone who cannot cry will be laughed at and even discriminated against by others.
