Graduated from Jilin University in 1962 with an undergraduate degree in mechanics. In 1989, he received a Ph.D. from Beihang University, majoring in mechanics. In 1991, he was awarded the "Chinese Doctoral Degree with Outstanding Contributions" by the State Education Commission and the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council. Winner" title and received the "Excellent Doctorate" certificate from Beihang University. Currently, he is the director of the Air Bearing Research Office of Luoyang Bearing Research Institute of the Ministry of Machinery and a researcher-level senior engineer, engaged in the research and development of "lubrication theory and gas bearings". His subject expertise is mathematical mechanics, and his research direction is tribology. English can be read, listened, written, and spoken; Japanese can be read, written, and Russian readable. He is the deputy director and secretary-general of the Gas Lubrication Branch of the Chinese Tribology Society, a senior member of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, and a member of the Chinese Mechanics Society and the Automation Society. The main achievements include: "Research on Dynamic Pressure Gas Bearings for Gyroscopes", which won the third and fourth prizes for scientific research achievements of the National Defense Science and Technology Commission in 1980; "Research on Porous Gas Bearings for Dynamic Balances in Wind Tunnels", which won the National Science and Technology Award in 1987. Second Prize for Progress; "Research on Gas Floating Ring Dynamic and Static Pressure Hybrid Bearings and Ultra-High-Speed ??Precision Air Spindles" won the third prize of the National Invention Award in 1991. The "gas floating ring dynamic and static pressure hybrid bearing" has obtained the national invention patent and is yet to be developed and transferred. His main works include "Calculation of Shallow Cavity Dynamic and Static Pressure Gas Bearings and Development of Ultra-high-speed Air Grinding Head" ("Journal of Beihang University" 1988 2), "Characteristics Analysis of Gas Floating Ring Dynamic and Static Pressure Coupled Bearings" ("Journal of Beihang University" 1990.2 ), "Mechanical Engineering Handbook" (Mechanical Industry Press, 1982). Monograph "Gas Lubrication Theory and Gas Bearing Design" (Mechanical Industry Press, 1999, 2). Now he is a part-time professor at Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, engaged in scientific research and training of graduate students.
