How much is the insulation resistance of low voltage side of power transformer qualified?

The qualified standard of insulation resistance of power transformer in operation is: 10KV. Level 1 and below, the insulation value is greater than 300 megohms; 35KV class, insulation value greater than 400 megohms (ambient temperature is 20℃).

Power transformer is a kind of static electrical equipment, which is used to convert a certain value of AC voltage (current) into another voltage (current) with the same frequency or several different values. When alternating current is applied to the primary winding, alternating magnetic flux is generated, which induces alternating electromotive force in the secondary winding through the magnetic permeability of the iron core.

The secondary induced electromotive force is related to the number of turns of primary and secondary windings, that is, the voltage is proportional to the number of turns. The main function is to transmit electric energy, so the rated capacity is its main parameter.

Rated capacity is a customary value of power, which represents the size of transmitted electric energy, expressed in kva or MVA. When the rated voltage is applied to the transformer, the rated current that does not exceed the temperature rise limit under the specified conditions is determined accordingly. The relatively energy-saving power transformer is an amorphous alloy core distribution transformer, and its biggest advantage is that the no-load loss value is extremely low.

Whether the no-load loss value can be guaranteed in the end is the core problem to be considered in the whole design process. When arranging the product structure, we should not only consider that the amorphous alloy core itself is not affected by external forces, but also select the characteristic parameters of amorphous alloy accurately and reasonably in the calculation.

Domestic manufacturers of power transformers include Saitong, CLP Electric, Baobian Tianwei, xd group, Shandong Mingda Electric Appliance and Shandong Electric Power Equipment Factory.
