In many years of research work, more than 0/000 species of plants in the north and south of China were systematically screened, and rich experience and data were accumulated. Four botanical pesticides, azadirachtin EC, azadirachtin wettable powder, nicotine EC and nicotine cyanooleate EC, were developed. A new high-efficient insecticidal plant-Sabina vulgaris was discovered. According to the actual needs of agricultural production, more than 20 new pesticide formulations and varieties, such as clofenuron EC, pirimicarb solution, fenpropathrin EC, fenpropathrin EC, and self-flowing trunk drier, have been successfully developed, and good economic, social and ecological benefits have been achieved through national registration and fixed-point production.
In the process of studying biological pesticides, the new concepts of pollution-free pesticides and pollution-free pesticides were put forward, and the pollution-free pesticides research service center of Northwest A&F University was established as a technological innovation research entity. Taking production, learning and research as a whole, aiming at cultivating first-class talents, developing new pesticides, serving modern agriculture and protecting the green environment, taking industrialization and enterprise as a bridge, taking pesticide products and their supporting production technologies as the main manifestations of research results, aiming at developing more new varieties and preparations of pesticides with independent intellectual property rights, and taking pesticide research, scientific and technological achievements and technology transfer services and foreign technical cooperation as the main directions, theoretical research is carried out. The center has more than 2,000 square meters of scientific research laboratory building, fixed assets of 1 10,000 yuan, strong scientific research and teaching strength, advanced instruments and equipment, and multi-disciplinary professionals in chemistry, chemical engineering, plant protection, insects, toxicology, plants, plant physiology and biochemistry. There is a 3,500-square-meter pilot base with fixed assets of more than 600,000 yuan. In recent years, based on the pollution-free pesticide research service center of Northwest A&F University, the national Yangling Agricultural Comprehensive Experimental Engineering Technology Research Center, the professional incubator of pollution-free pesticides in the National University Science Park of Northwest A&F University, the Shaanxi Biopesticide Engineering Technology Research Center, and the pollution-free prevention and control technology innovation center of agricultural pests of the Ministry of Agriculture have been built successively. An innovative platform based on biopesticides and closely integrated with Industry-University-Research has been initially established.
