Smoking cessation by compressing ear acupoints. Using the meridian theory of traditional Chinese medicine, the purpose of quitting smoking can also be achieved by compressing auricular acupoints. The specific method is: select the Shenmen, Lung, Mouth and Endocrine acupoints of the auricles on both sides of the auricle, first disinfect them with alcohol, and then use a probe to select the most painful points in each acupoint area and stick adhesive plaster to fix them. Whenever you want to smoke, use your index finger or thumb to massage each acupoint area from top to bottom, that is, first the Shenmen, Lung, and Mouth acupoints, and then the endocrine acupoints. Press and rub each point for about 1 minute, on both sides at the same time. When massaging, apply force until the acupuncture points feel slightly painful. A course of treatment is 15 days.
