On May 11, 1992, Yu Quan successfully passed his doctoral defense. "Research on Multimode Optical Fiber Effects and Application in Optical Fiber Network CAD" was listed as a first-class paper in Limoges. The university's doctoral thesis sample was judged "excellent" by experts.
