2. When installing the liner, it should be padded to be close to the cylinder, and the padded material is generally 1: 1 asbestos cement mortar to fill the concave on the back of the liner. The liner of the first silo of wet-process raw meal mill is greatly impacted and vibrated, and the liner is easy to be washed away. After falling off, the liner will directly rub the cylinder, so wood plywood or 4-6 mm thick rubber sheet can be used as the liner. When the wooden plywood is fastened, it is greatly compressed. When it meets the slurry, it absorbs water and expands, which effectively fills the gap between the liner and the barrel, and can eliminate the erosion and wear of the barrel by the slurry.
3. The gap between lining plates should not be greater than 5-1 mm.. If this gap is exceeded, metal materials must be used to block it.
4. If the liner is directional, attention should be paid not to reverse the direction during installation, for example, the thin side of the stepped liner faces the rotation direction of the ball mill during installation.
5. After the liner is installed, use a wrench (with a booster) to tighten all the bolts. After the ball mill runs, some bolts will be loose and leak ash (slurry) due to the impact of the grinding body, so the ball mill should stop grinding for a period of time and then pump the slurry again, and so on for three consecutive times.
