Is the annual fee for utility model patent calculated from the date of application or the date of authorization?

2.2. 1 year fee

The annual fee for the year when the patent right is granted shall be paid at the same time as the registration formalities, and the annual fee for the following year shall be paid before the expiration of the previous year. The expiration date of the payment period is the corresponding date of the application date of the current year.

The patent year is counted from the date of application, which has nothing to do with the priority date and authorization date, and is not necessarily related to the natural year.
