Patent pd

[PConline Information] According to the American technology website Applelnsider, Apple recently submitted a patent application for a new technology to the US Patent and Trademark Office. It is reported that data can be transmitted by electromagnetic waves, and perhaps the iPhone will completely cancel the Lightning interface.

Since the iPhone 7 series, Apple has been improving the waterproof and splash-proof functions of the iPhone. In the latest generation, the waterproof ability of iPhone XS has reached IP68 level. The upcoming iPhone 1 1 will also maintain this level. At present, the Lightning interface mainly has two functions, one is charging, and the other is for computer to transmit data. The new patent uses electromagnetic waves to transmit data, and uses wireless charging instead.

It is also reported that the new iPhone will adopt a round mute button and a USB-C interface. However, because USB-C can bring advantages such as PD fast charging and audio and video transmission, it is no wonder that the new iPhone will adopt this interface.
