Achievements of pharmaceutical biotechnology State Key Laboratory (Nanjing University)

Over the years, the laboratory has closely focused on the above three research directions and based on original innovation. Since 200 1, more than 350 scientific research projects have been undertaken and completed through competitions, with an average annual research funding of about 20 million yuan. The laboratory mainly undertakes the national basic research projects, accounting for about 40% of the total projects, and the research funds account for about 80% of the total funds, including the National 973 Project (with 1 as the director), the National 863 Project, the National Tenth Five-Year Key Research Project, the National Science and Technology Basic Work Project, the National Outstanding Youth Fund and the National Natural Science Fund. There are more than 20 technology transfer and cooperative development projects with a total investment of 1 10,000 yuan and a contract amount of 34.4 million yuan.

Since the establishment of our laboratory, our laboratory has won more than 20 awards, including 4 national awards and 9 provincial and ministerial awards, especially the "protein Project of Pro-UK/ Urokinase: Study on the Relationship between Structure and Function" in the aspects of the structural basis and physiological significance of Pro-UK/ Urokinase endogenous catalytic activity, the efficient expression and renaturation of Pro-UK/and the second generation Pro-UK/. "Research on some important medicinal plant components" provides new clues for the understanding and utilization of endophytic fungi and the development of related new drugs. The established method has extensive reference value for related research, and won the second prize of National Natural Science 20 10. Obtained 6 1 domestic invention patents and 2 American invention patents; Laboratory obtained 12 clinical approval of new drugs; Published more than 200 research papers 1200, including more than 800 SCI papers, accounting for about 70% of the total number of papers, and 9 papers with impact factors above 10.0; 23 books have been published.
