1. Invention and utility model: request, specification, abstract, claims and drawings; Design: requirements, pictures or photographs;
2. Names and addresses of inventors and applicants;
3. Where priority is claimed, the country, date of application, application number and priority certificate of the earlier application shall be provided (the relevant priority certificate can be submitted within 3 months from the date of application);
4. The power of attorney signed by the applicant (downloadable) can be supplemented after the application;
Priority period
The priority period for inventions and utility models is 12 months, and the priority period for designs is 6 months.

If the application for a patent for invention has not found reasons for rejection after preliminary examination (formal examination) and substantive examination, the Patent Office will issue a notice of authorization.
If the preliminary examination (formal examination) of the utility model and design finds no reason for rejection, the Patent Office will issue a notice of authorization.
take effect
If the applicant goes through the registration formalities and pays the relevant fees within the prescribed time limit after receiving the authorization notice issued by the Patent Office, the Patent Office will issue a patent certificate, register and announce it at the same time, and the patent right will take effect from the date of announcement.
Application cycle
The application period of general inventions is about 2-3 years, and it may be longer if there are review opinions.
The service life of the utility model is about 10- 12 months.
The design application period is about 8- 10 months.
valid period
The period of validity of the invention is 20 years, and the period of validity of the utility model and design is 10 years, counting from the date of application.
annual fee
After authorization, the patentee shall pay the annual fee for the next year before the expiration of the previous year to maintain the validity of the patent.
