How to withdraw a patent application?

The applicant may withdraw his patent application at any time before the patent application is authorized. Where the applicant withdraws his patent application, he shall submit a "Declaration of Withdrawal of Patent Application" to the patent administrative department of the State Council. The Declaration of Withdrawal of Patent Application is a format formulated by the patent administrative department of the State Council. See the annex. The declaration shall be filled in item by item, indicating the invention name, application number and application date, and shall be signed by the applicant or agency. If the withdrawal procedure is qualified, the patent administration department of the State Council shall send a Notice of Procedure Qualification to the applicant; When the withdrawal procedure is unqualified, a "notice deemed not submitted" will be sent to the applicant. When the statement of withdrawing the patent application was submitted, the patent administrative department of the State Council had already made printing preparations for publishing the patent application, so the patent application mentioned in the statement will still be published.
