The improvement measures for the motor bearing sealing device include the following four points:
1. Groove sealing method on the shaft
For Soviet motors and old product motors , due to unreasonable sealing structure causing oil leakage, when repairing, you can refer to Japan's Toshiba motor bearing sealing measures for modification. That is, a groove is machined on the shaft, and a baffle is added to the tile seat to insert into the groove for sealing. The effect is good.
The operation process is as follows:
① First, process a groove on the rotating shaft.
Large motors can be processed on original equipment and do not need to be processed on a lathe. The method is to use a DC motor to drive the processed rotor to rotate at a speed of 10-50r/min. Remove the upper tile cover and upper tile from the bearing to be processed, keep the lower tile and oil ring still, use the oil ring to carry oil, close the oil delivery pipeline valve, and wrap the inlet and outlet of the tile seat with cloth. In order to prevent the cut iron powder from falling into the tile, both sides of the journal need to be blocked and pressed with rubber pads or cardboard. A tool holder is installed at the splitting surface of the bearing shell to process the groove. A small tool holder on a lathe can be used to process the tool holder. Prevent axial movement during turning. After processing, take out the lower tile and clean the iron dust and dirty oil. When machining grooves on both sides of the journal, the tool should be reversed to ensure safety during turning.
② Take out the lower tiles of the unit, use spare tiles or wooden blocks to support the rotor, close the upper and lower tiles and send them to the lathe for processing.
③Design the sealing ring size and aluminum casting according to the size of the tile seat and shaft.
When designing the dimensions, the amount of movement must be taken into consideration to prevent the baffle inserted into the slot from rubbing due to shaft movement. The matching clearance between the sealing ring and the shaft is selected according to the matching clearance between the shaft and the bush.
2. Add an oil slinger and sealing ring device to the shaft
Insert a sleeve with an oil slinger on the shaft to throw the exposed oil back into the tile. . Install a sealing ring on the outside of the sleeve. For bearing bodies with sufficient space, this method can be used to prevent leakage.
3. Add a labyrinth sealing device
A labyrinth sealing device with simple structure and wide application. Because the gaps between each part are small. The length is very long, so it creates greater resistance to oil flow and has better oil-proof effect.
4. Measures to extend the oil ring groove
In order to prevent the oil ring from throwing away oil, the partial oil ring groove on the upper bearing bush is extended below the joint surface of the lower bush, which can effectively prevent oil throwing away. . Two-thirds of the original upper tile has an oil ring groove. To prevent oil leakage, the oil ring groove is extended below the center line. Add the oil ring groove baffle and fix it with screws.
