Graduated from the Department of Physics of Jilin University in 1983. He was a visiting scholar at the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands from 1998 to 2000, and received a doctorate in science from the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands in 2003. From 2004 to 2007, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. From 2008 to 2009, he was a visiting scholar at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. In terms of scientific research, he presided over 2 national fund projects, an autonomous region key project and a science and technology planning project, and participated in two Kingdom of the Netherlands technology fund projects and 3 national fund projects. One of the inventors of two Dutch patents. In 2000, a scientific and technological cooperation and exchange project between the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands and Inner Mongolia Normal University was established. Through this project, we have introduced advanced foreign technologies and promoted talent training in the college, which has produced huge social and economic benefits. In 2002, a paper titled "Transition Metal Based Thermomagnetic Refrigeration Materials" was published in the British "Nature" magazine, which opened up a new field of magnetic refrigeration material research, solved a technical problem in the research of magnetic refrigeration materials, and promoted the development of magnetic refrigeration materials. The research process of refrigeration materials and technology has received great attention and praise from the academic and business circles. The New York Times and other news outlets have reported on this. The paper has been cited more than 800 times. Another paper titled "Magnetocaloric Effect and Magnetic Phase Change" was published in "Physica B" and has been cited more than 100 times. Published an English academic monograph "Novel Magnetic Refrigeration Materials" (2002). In addition, he has participated in many international academic conferences, published more than 100 research papers, and is a reviewer for many international academic journals such as the American "Applied Physics Letters". In 2010, he was rated as a young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions in the autonomous region. In 2011, he was awarded the title of National Outstanding Scientific and Technological Worker. In 2011, he was rated as the "Grassland Talent" of the autonomous region. In 2012, he enjoyed special subsidies from the national government
