Active armor is reactive armor. Actual reactive armor should not be called armor. It is actually a piece of inert explosive. It uses small pieces of explosive to explode and destroy anti-tank weapons launched by the opponent.
Tank armor Types generally include: homogeneous steel plate armor (this type of armor is the most common)
Gap armor (generally used for light tanks)
