There are three requirements for the standardized use of geographical indications: First, the use of the geographical indications of Chongming Rice must be authorized by the trademark owner, and an application for the use of special signs and standardized use must be made. Second, the origin and processing place of Chongming rice must be Chongming, Shanghai, and we must resolutely put an end to counterfeiting and adulteration. The third is to gradually make the products meet the group standard of "Chongming Rice" and mark them on the packaging. Several enterprises expressed their gratitude to the District Market Bureau and the Agriculture and Rural Committee for their concern, and also solemnly promised to carry out the publicity and sales of "Chongming Rice" in strict accordance with the requirements for the use of geographical indications, in pursuit of a double harvest of economic benefits and social credit.
Chongming District Bureau will continue to strengthen the daily supervision of geographical indication products such as "Chongming Rice", strictly regulate the authorization and use of geographical indications, and gradually form a long-term supervision mechanism for geographical indications in our region.
