2020 Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University major transfer, freshman major transfer and entrance examination

According to the provisions of the "Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University Undergraduate and College Students' Major Change Management Measures (Revised)" (Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University [2015] No. 40), the matters related to the major change of 2015 students are hereby notified as follows:

1. Planning Indicators and Assessment Principles

1. The transfer-in and out-indicators for each major are set at 15 times the actual enrollment number of the major.

2. Priority principle:

Transfer-out: Those who cannot study in the original major due to certain diseases or special difficulties; those who have expertise and relevant achievements and can better utilize their expertise by changing majors can be given priority to transfer out.

Transfer: Those who have real expertise and relevant achievements and can better utilize their expertise by changing majors can be given priority to transfer.

3. Each college will formulate detailed rules based on the students’ final intellectual education assessment scores and rankings in the first semester of the course combined with professional characteristics.

4. Students whose enrollment batch is the second batch of undergraduate majors in the place of origin at the time of admission are not allowed to transfer to the first batch of undergraduate majors in the place of origin. Students admitted to Anxi Tea College can only transfer majors within Anxi Tea College.

5. Students enrolled in cooperative education programs can only transfer within cooperative education programs or into the same major in non-cooperative education programs.

6. Students who need to change majors due to illness should provide the relevant examination conclusions of the school hospital; those who really have special difficulties and apply for changing majors should provide materials sufficient to explain the situation; those who do have expertise must have invention or utility model patents and other materials.

2. Work Procedures and Time Arrangement

1. Before December 25, each college will formulate the "Details for the Major Transfer of 2015 Students of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University" (Attachment 1, including: transfer The composition of the professional working group, transfer and acceptance conditions for major transfer, assessment methods, admission principles, publicity website, etc.) are submitted to the Academic Affairs Office.

2. Before December 30, the Academic Affairs Office will complete the review of the "Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University 2015 Students' Major Change Work Rules" of each college. After approval by the leaders of the respective schools, it will be published on the website of the Academic Affairs Office.

3. From January 2nd to January 10th, students who plan to apply to change majors log in to the Academic Affairs Management System (ttp://jwgl.fafu.edu.cn)--Information Maintenance-Students Transferring Majors Apply for registration, and print and sign the application form before January 12th and submit it to the college (Nanping campus, Anxi campus, submit it to the teaching department of the corresponding campus). Two choices can be filled in on the application form. A valid application must be complete and consistent between the student's online application and paper application materials.

4. The Academic Affairs Office will provide feedback to each college on the list of students’ applications for major transfer before January 20th.

5. Before January 30, the college will complete the transfer approval and publicity work, and submit the "2015 Major Transfer Review Summary Table" (Attachment 2), application form, and transcript to the Academic Affairs at.

6. Before March 3, the college completed the review, approval and public announcement of first-choice transfers, and submitted the "2015 Major Transfer Review Summary" (Annex 3) to the Academic Affairs Office.

7. Before March 6, the Academic Affairs Office will transfer the materials of unaccepted students to the second choice college.

8. Before March 9, the college will complete the review, approval and publicity of the second-choice transfer and submit it to the Academic Affairs Office.

9. The Academic Affairs Office will review and summarize the results, and after reporting to the leaders of the teaching school for approval, the list of students who have changed majors will be published on the website of the Academic Affairs Office. After the publicity is over, the documents will be distributed.

2. Other matters

1. Students' changing majors involves students' rights and interests. Each college should pay full attention to this matter and be sure to communicate this work and related policies to students.

2. Each college must have clear standards, open conditions, standardized procedures, and complete procedures.

3. Each college should do a good job in counseling students on changing majors.

4. Strictly follow the prescribed requirements and time.

5. The work of changing majors has strict requirements and complicated procedures. In order to enable students who change majors to enter the post-transfer major study earlier, some work of changing majors needs to be completed during the winter vacation, which brings difficulties to the work of each college.
