What is the material of Haines 230?

Haynes230, also known as GH3230 in China, is a nickel-based alloy material with high temperature corrosion resistance.

Overview and application of GH3230;

GH3230 is a Ni-Cr based solid solution strengthened superalloy, and its service temperature ranges from 700 ~1050℃. The alloy contains 22%Cr, 14%W and 2%Mo, and has high high temperature strength, cold and hot fatigue properties, excellent microstructure stability, oxidation resistance and hot corrosion resistance. In the same kind of products, the properties of this alloy are greatly improved compared with GH3536, and its oxidation resistance and creep properties are equivalent to those of GH5 188 alloy, while its organizational stability, oxidation resistance and material cost are obviously superior to those of GH5 188 alloy. At the same time, the alloy has good forming process performance and welding performance.

It is suitable for manufacturing aero-engine flame tube and other parts, and is widely used in aero-engine combustion chamber, ground gas turbine combustion chamber and some high-temperature and corrosion-resistant parts in chemical industry.

After long-term aging at 800℃* 1000h, there is no harmful TCP phase precipitation.
