The biological treatment technology of sewage, especially aerobic granular sludge system, has been studied systematically for a long time, and more than 20 high-level academic papers have been published in foreign journals, including more than English articles 10, and SCI has searched for invention patents 13, which has a high reputation and influence in the field of granular sludge research at home and abroad. In 2008, he won the Best Paper Award of the International Water Association for his research on aerobic granular sludge. He is a commentator of famous foreign magazines, such as Water Research, Process Biochemistry, Enzyme and Microbiology Technology, and International Journal of Environment and Pollution (IJEP).
