The "sensor-based on-load ice-melting line icing technology" mainly uses a variety of sensors to detect whether the line itself is covered with ice. Once the icing is found, a loop can be formed in the double-split conductor after the voltage is boosted by the autotransformer, which generates current and automatically melts the icing through the heating of the conductor. The data acquisition of the system is mainly composed of gravity sensor, vibration frequency sensor, wind speed sensor, temperature and humidity sensor and other components.
Before the on-load ice melting technology is adopted, when the line is seriously covered with ice, it is necessary to cut off the power supply immediately, and then manually use bamboo poles to break the ice, which is not only time-consuming and laborious, but also easy to damage the wires. After the load deicing technology is adopted, the half-moon conductor will automatically deice and the line will not be damaged.
At present, only Baoji Power Supply Bureau has adopted this technology in China, and it has been well applied.
