Gao Jinji’s research results

Academician Gao Jinji was formerly the deputy chief engineer and professor-level senior engineer of PetroChina Liaoyang Petrochemical Fiber Company. He is a well-known expert in equipment diagnostic engineering. In 1979, it was the first domestic industrial enterprise to develop and apply equipment diagnostic technology, overcoming the major technical difficulties that French design experts had failed to solve that hindered the commissioning and production of the national key project Liaoning Chemical; and identified axial faults that caused frequent shutdowns of cracking compressors and major accidents. Force design error; through bearing modification design and full-speed dynamic balancing of the entire machine, strong vibration of the high-speed compressor unit was eliminated, creating a cumulative benefit of tens of millions of yuan. In 1984, the Sinopec Condition Monitoring and Diagnostic Technology Center (now China Petroleum Equipment Diagnostic Technology Development Center) was established. In the past 15 years, we have assisted 30 companies including Yanhua Chemical Company in diagnosing and troubleshooting 204 unit failures. The developed machine-pump group monitoring network and diagnostic system have been industrialized and successfully used in 5 units including hydrocracking. Developed and applied monitoring, diagnosis and predictive maintenance systems to avoid many major equipment accidents, and implemented biannual maintenance for the first time in the petrochemical industry. We compiled scientific and practical identification rules for 58 types of mechanical faults in 10 categories, and successfully developed a vibration diagnosis software package for the National Economic and Trade Commission's key enterprise promotion and application project, which has been adopted by 20 domestic enterprises.

In 2001, he went to Beijing University of Chemical Technology and served as deputy director of the Academic Committee, dean and honorary dean of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. He founded the Diagnosis and Self-Healing Engineering Research Center, Beijing University of Chemical Technology-American RTD Embedded System Laboratory, The Beijing University of Chemical Technology-American PAC Non-Destructive Testing Joint Laboratory established the Chemical Safety Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education, serving as the director of the center. It established the State Administration of Work Safety's Basic Research Laboratory for Fault Prevention and Monitoring of Hazardous Chemical Production Processes and established PetroChina Refinery. Chemical Equipment Fault Diagnosis (Beijing) Center and serves as the director of the center. In 2006, as the leader of the expert team of the Jilin Chemical Explosion Accident Investigation Team of the State Council, he went to the Jilin Chemical Explosion Site to conduct accident investigations; organized research and development of a manual misoperation hazard and operability analysis system; and led a team to establish equipment remote control for China National Petroleum Corporation The monitoring network has monitored 156 large units and 5,700 pumps. It has developed an intelligent platform for maintenance and safety assurance information based on SOA architecture, and carried out preliminary industrial applications, achieving good results. Undertakes a number of national key scientific research projects such as key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, national “11th Five-Year Plan” science and technology support projects, National 863 Project, and Chinese Academy of Engineering Consulting. He has won 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, 3 third prizes for ministerial-level scientific and technological progress, 1 second prize for national teaching achievements, 1 first prize for Beijing education and teaching achievements, and 3 national invention patents. , participated in the writing of 2 monographs, and published more than 70 papers at home and abroad. For the first time in the international equipment engineering academic community, the academic concept of "Equipment Failure Self-Healing Engineering" was proposed, which attracted the attention of international peers. He was hired by the World Conference on Engineering Asset Management (WCEAM) as a member of the International Planning Steering Committee, and served as the third World Engineering Asset Management Conference.
