Basically, the cycle life of ternary lithium batteries is generally about 800 times-1000 times, and the so-called one-cycle life here refers to the process of complete charge and discharge. Considering that plug-in hybrid electric vehicles can burn engine oil, the battery is used less often than pure electric vehicles. And in general, plug-in hybrid vehicles have no fast charging port, which means they can only charge slowly. Generally speaking, slow charging will still protect the power battery to some extent.
With the scale effect of new energy vehicles and the development of power battery energy storage technology, the cost of ternary lithium battery at present is 1 100 yuan/kwh. Take BYD Tang DM Long Life Edition as an example, the replacement cost is about 26,400, plus the labor cost 10%, the total replacement cost is about 29,000.
As long as the replaced power battery is not scrapped, it can be recycled only by attenuation. Generally, the recycling value is between 10%-20%, which can basically offset the labor cost.
