Calorimeter maintenance, what should you pay attention to when using a calorimeter?

The patent inventor of HY-A9 universal automatic calorimeter - Zhengzhou Hengya Instruments will answer your questions:

During the oxygen bomb oxygenation operation, you should pay attention to the following issues:

p>

(1) First, check whether the oxygen pressure gauge is intact and sensitive, whether the indicated pressure is correct, and whether the operation is safe.

(2) When the oxygen bomb is filled with oxygen, the pressure must be slowly raised until the specified pressure is maintained for 0.5-1 min.

(3) Do not come into contact with grease when using oxygen.

(4) Oxygen bomb oxygenation should be carried out according to the specified pressure, and the oxygenation pressure should not be too low or too high.

Air leakage at the orifice of the deflation valve of the oxygen head:

1. The sealing ring on the sealing block is occupied by dirt or the sealing ring is aged. Remove the dirt or replace the sealing ring.

2. The sealing ring on the sealing valve is filled with dirt or the sealing ring is aged. Remove the dirt or replace the sealing ring.

Air is leaking from the white insulating sleeve of the oxygen bomb cover

The surface of the insulating sleeve is contaminated with dirt or is aged and damaged. Please remove the dirt or replace the insulating sleeve.

Air is leaking from the oxygen bomb cover

The bullet sealing ring is stained with dirt or the sealing ring is aged. Remove the dirt or replace the sealing ring.

The gas in the oxygen bomb cannot be released

1. The thimble in the release valve is short and cannot reach the release valve in the oxygen bomb. You can use a small iron rod to replace the release valve. Press the release valve in the oxygen bomb to release the air.

2. The upper sealing ring of the oxygen bomb sealing valve is out of position, and reinstall the sealing ring.

3. Oxygen cannot be charged into the oxygen bomb.

4. The sealing ring inside the oxygenator sleeve is aging. You can apply a layer of silicone grease inside or replace the sealing ring.

5. If the sealing valve is installed backwards, reinstall the sealing valve.

Oxygen pressure reducer:

1. Meter leakage: the high-pressure meter does not pressurize when the oxygen bottle is opened, or the low-pressure meter does not pressurize when the pressure reducer is adjusted. When you press it, you can hear a hissing air leakage sound. If the above situation occurs, please return it to the manufacturer or dealer for repair, or you can buy a replacement meter yourself (must have an oxygen meter or this meter is oil-free). Be sure to tighten it when replacing. If you cannot buy a 6MPA oxygen meter, you can also use a 4MPA oxygen meter instead)

2. When reopening the oxygen bottle, the pressure displayed on the low-pressure meter is not the pressure displayed when the bottle was closed last time. . If the above situation occurs, please turn the adjusting screw back to the original state, return the low-pressure gauge to zero, and then readjust it to the pressure you need. According to relevant national regulations, the pressure reducer should be adjusted to its original state after each use.

3. Artesian flow: When the oxygen cylinder is opened, gas leaks from the outlet joint or the low-pressure oxygen meter continues to rise. At this time, the pressure reducer should be replaced and returned to the manufacturer for repair. The probability of this happening is low.

The large air inlet nut is not tightened. When the oxygen bottle is closed, the high-pressure gauge slowly returns to zero. At this time, use a wrench to tighten the large nut. If the high-pressure gauge drops back to a value similar to that of the low-pressure gauge, the oxygen cylinder valve may be leaking and the oxygen cylinder needs to be replaced. If the ratio of the oxygen cylinder is not good, the ratio of the air inlet nut may be damaged. In this case, you can buy a suitable nut locally and replace it. When replacing, be careful not to drop the accessories in the pressure reducer.

4. Damage to the diaphragm: There is a hissing air leakage sound from the small hole in the back cover of the pressure reducer. At this time, you should return it to the manufacturer to replace the diaphragm, and do not repair it yourself.

5. Air leakage at the safety valve: At this time, use a wrench to loosen the safety valve nut, then use a screwdriver to tighten the safety valve screw until there is no air leakage, and then use a wrench to tighten the safety valve nut into place. But

In addition, there may be air leakage from the air outlet joint, just tighten it with a wrench.

The test results are unstable or out of tolerance:

1. The ambient temperature does not meet the test requirements.

2. The particle size of the sample does not meet the test requirements.

3. Inaccurate sample weighing and human error.

4. The heat capacity changes with the seasons and is not suitable and should be recalibrated.

5. Temperature measurement is unstable.

6. The sample burns incompletely or deflagrates.

7. The oxygen bomb has insufficient oxygen filling time or insufficient pressure.

8. The oxygen bomb is leaking.

9. External power interference.
