My country has made major breakthroughs in the field of hydrogen vehicle research and development, and has successfully developed a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle performance prototype.
At present, China has obtained key technologies for the preparation of high-power hydrogen-air fuel cell stacks in fuel cell engines. Fuel cell engines with a net output of 30kW for cars and 60kW and 100kW for buses have been developed. The fuel cell engine testing bases of Tongji University and Tsinghua University have passed strict tests and been installed and run. The fuel cell cars have run for more than 4,000 kilometers and the fuel cell buses have run for more than 8,000 kilometers.
Previously, fuel cell vehicles using hydrogen as energy were included in the national "863" plan, and the Ministry of Science and Technology invested 120 million yuan to support the research and development of fuel cell vehicles and related technologies.
In addition, domestically developed fuel cell vehicles have been greatly improved in vehicle handling performance, driving performance, safety performance, fuel utilization and other aspects. Domestic automobile companies have also developed more than 100 types of gas-powered vehicles, which have been promoted and applied in 19 cities; domestically independently developed pure electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles have also begun demonstration operations
