The project team has organized and implemented three scientific drilling wells in Qilian Mountain permafrost region, and all of them have successfully drilled natural gas hydrate samples. At the same time, important progress has been made in the research and development of natural gas hydrate investigation technology and supporting equipment.
2. Establish a continental thin-skinned orogenic model in Daba Mountain area.
A new idea of oil and gas exploration breakthrough in Daba Mountain is put forward. The results of the project are considered by the expert committee to be excellent research results of combining depth with depth and combining geology with geophysics, which has a demonstration role for this kind of research.
3. Great progress has been made in the study of Jehol biota.
In 2009, the newly discovered early Cretaceous mammal, the Asian hairy beast, revealed the evolution process of mammalian ear region, and related research results were published in the top international journal Science.
4. Isoflagellate. The mother source of long-chain ketene in the lake was found and successfully separated.
Through the temperature control culture of a single algae species, the relationship equation between long-chain ketene unsaturation and water temperature is established, which shows that long-chain ketene is a reliable terrestrial temperature scale, and 7 papers have been published in international SCI retrieval journals, which has aroused widespread concern.
5. By studying the characteristics of water resources and crop adaptability in North China Plain.
It is the first time to find out the location relationship between regional water resources change and crop distribution, which provides a scientific basis for fundamentally alleviating the problem of groundwater overexploitation in North China Plain.
