In the past ten years, with the care and strong support of the school and government departments, and the joint efforts of teachers and students in the school, the discipline construction of the School of Pharmacy has developed rapidly. In 2012, the first-level discipline of Traditional Chinese Medicine was awarded as a key discipline in Guangdong Province. The School of Pharmacy has entered the "985 Advantageous Discipline Innovation Platform" for innovative drug research of Jinan University and has been approved to establish the 2011 Collaborative Innovation Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine and Natural Medicine. It has basically completed its functions and is well-equipped. , an innovative drug research platform with standardized management and a modern pharmacy teaching and experiment center. Currently, the School of Pharmacy is responsible for the National 973 and 863 Plans, the National Major New Drug Creation Project, the National “11th Five-Year Plan” and “12th Five-Year Plan” Science and Technology Support Plan, the National Outstanding Youth Science Fund Project, and NSFC-Guangdong Provincial Government Joint Fund Key Projects , Ministry of Education Innovation Team Project, National Natural Science Foundation General and Youth Fund Project, Ministry of Education Key Science and Technology Project, Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation Team Project, Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation Key or General Project, Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Plan Key Project, Guangzhou major science and technology plan projects and other research topics. During the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" period, the School of Pharmacy won 72 scientific research projects of various types, including 67.98 million yuan in vertical funding, 15.3 million yuan in horizontal funding, and a total of 83.28 million yuan in scientific research funding. It has published more than 400 SCI papers and more than 50 academic monographs; applied for 54 domestic and foreign invention patents, of which 36 were authorized; and won 8 scientific and technological achievement awards at the provincial and ministerial level or above, including 3 second prizes and 5 third prizes. ; There are 15 new drugs under research, of which 1 new drug in Category 1 and 1 new drug in Category 5 are currently in phase II clinical trials.
