The current research status of antibiotic-free fermented feed?

Since 1992, domestic animal husbandry researchers have been aware of the potential harm of antibiotics. The Ministry of Agriculture and local animal husbandry management departments at all levels have also invested a lot of manpower and material resources in the development of antibiotic alternatives. After 1994, microbial experts represented by Dr. Yao Bin joined the feed research industry and began research on green antibiotic alternatives such as enzyme preparations and live bacteria preparations. At the same time, some private companies specializing in the production of green feed additives gradually emerged.

Since 2002, more microbial researchers have been engaged in feed research, microbial feed fermentation technology has made great progress, the technology has become more and more mature, and patented technologies with practical value are constantly emerging. Typical examples include: the microbial combination fermentation technology advocated by Mr. Guo Weilie and the air pressure balance membrane automatic control technology invented by the Microbial Fermentation Feed Research Group of the Feed Industry Center of the Ministry of Agriculture. Microbial combination fermentation utilizes the principle of mutual synergy and competitive inhibition between microorganisms to achieve direct inoculation and culture of fermented raw materials without disinfection, thus greatly reducing the energy-consuming process of raw material disinfection in traditional fermented feed production; and air pressure balance membrane technology realizes aerobic microorganisms and Anaerobic microorganisms only survive sequential fermentation, and can automatically generate and maintain the anaerobic environment of the fermentation system. The materials are not dried after the fermentation is completed, which greatly simplifies the production process. This lays a reliable technology for the promotion and application of antibiotic-free fermented feed. Base.

In May 2004, the Feed Industry Center of the Ministry of Agriculture, in conjunction with the Beijing Feed Supervision Institute and the Antibiotic-Free Fermented Feed Project Team, conducted animal feed testing in suburban counties around Beijing, Weifang, Shandong, Jining, and Yixian, Hebei. Antibiotic-free pig feeding trial. Through a large number of experiments and repeated practice, the respiratory membrane movable solid-state fermentation method has been realized to produce highly active microbial feed. In August 2006, the technology passed the achievement appraisal of the Ministry of Agriculture, and the core technology was original and innovative. This technology is a practical technology for raising pigs without antibiotics, and is particularly suitable for promotion and use under my country’s livestock breeding conditions.
