Basic information about Liang Wei

Liang Wei, male, from Xinyang, Henan, born in May 1971, PhD/postdoctoral fellow. Doctoral supervisor/researcher at the Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, leader of the Environmental Microbial Engineering Discipline Group, senior member of the Chinese Society of Environmental Sciences, deputy director/secretary-general of the Environmental Biology Branch of the Chinese Society of Environmental Sciences. He has published more than 70 papers in core journals at home and abroad, obtained 3 nationally authorized invention patents, and participated in the preparation of 2 monographs. He has successively presided over a series of projects such as the national "11th Five-Year Plan" and "12th Five-Year Plan" water special sub-projects, National Natural Science Foundation general projects, science and technology support project sub-projects, the Ministry of Science and Technology's Agricultural Achievements Transformation Project, the Chinese Academy of Sciences Tianjin Special Project, and the Chenguang Plan. Research has accumulated a total funding of more than 10 million yuan. Main research areas: constructed wetlands, environmental microbiology, bioremediation, ecological restoration of polluted water bodies, etc.
