Rong Zong's new discovery: Resveratrol has anticancer effect

Modern people talk about cancer discoloration, but with the rapid development of medicine, China's cancer treatment technology has made an important breakthrough. According to the research of Taipei Rongzong Cancer Center and Teaching and Research Section, resveratrol, which is common in grapes, nuts, drupes and blueberries, has anti-cancer effect.

Research by Taipei Veterans Cancer Center and Department of Teaching and Research found that resveratrol, a polyphenol compound, can inhibit the self-renewal of cancer stem cells. (Photo/Excerpted from An Tianfeng Biotechnology official website) Chen Yiwei, the attending physician of Taipei Rongzong Cancer Center, said that resveratrol, a polyphenol compound, has the ability to inhibit the self-renewal of tumor stem cells, and it has been confirmed that resveratrol has the effect of improving clinical radiotherapy in animal experiments of allogeneic transplantation in immunocompromised mice. However, how many doses should be effective? Accurate data cannot be provided at present. Therefore, it is not recommended to use too much, which may be counterproductive.

Taipei Veteran General Cancer Center has established a therapeutic platform (radiotherapy sensitizer) based on resveratrol to improve the curative effect of radiotherapy, which has been approved by American patent and patent certificate of the Republic of China. The preclinical experiment of this study has been completed, and its research results have been published in the first medical journal in the field of tumor radiotherapy (int j radiotherapy oncol biophys). At present, Mr. Rong's research team is using this patent platform for tumor stem cells to apply for clinical trial cases in order to improve the cure rate of clinical malignant tumors.

At present, resveratrol, as a radiotherapy sensitizer, has been applied in human clinical trials, and it is believed that it will directly benefit cancer patients in the near future. In addition, in the future development, Taipei Rongzong Cancer Center will further apply the latest technologies such as bio-efficient particle radiotherapy to the treatment of malignant tumors and cancer stem cells that people can't cure at present, hoping to become a new milestone in the new anti-cancer medical technology.
