The predecessor of the Department of Materials Physics can be traced back to the Institute of Semiconductor Materials, Hebei University of Technology, which was founded in 1960s. For a long time, around the needs of national economy and discipline construction, we have focused on scientific research, technology development and personnel training of semiconductor materials and magnetic materials. After years of construction and development, we have formed distinct characteristics of production, learning and research. First, the strength of running a school

The advantages of this subject are obvious. The first-level discipline of this department is materials science and engineering, and it has the right to award doctoral and master's degrees.
