First, what is the button switch?
Button switch, also known as control button (abbreviated as button), is a low-voltage electrical appliance that can be reset manually and automatically. Buttons are usually used to send start or stop instructions in circuits to control the on-off of coil current of electromagnetic starters, contactors, relays and other electrical appliances.
Button switch is an electrical appliance, which can be used to connect and disconnect small current circuits when pressed, and can be reset when released. Generally, it is used for control circuits with AC /DC voltage below 440V and current below 5 A. Generally, it does not directly control the main circuit, but also can be used for interconnection circuits.
Second, the working principle of the button switch
A button is generally composed of a button cap, a return spring, a bridge-type movable contact, a static contact, a strut connecting rod and a shell. The working principle of the key switch is easy to understand. To put it bluntly, there is an electromagnet adsorption device inside. When you press the button, the electromagnet inside produces magnetic force instead of electricity, and then the circuit is connected or disconnected through this adsorption device. Thereby realizing the remote control function of the line.
When the key is not acted by external force (i.e. static), the contact state can be divided into start button (i.e. normally open button), stop button (i.e. normally closed button) and composite button (i.e. button with normally open contact and normally closed contact combined into one). For the start button, when the button cap is pressed, the contact is closed, and when it is released, the contact is automatically disconnected and reset; On the other hand, the stop key. When the key cap is pressed, the contacts are separated, and when released, the contacts are automatically closed and reset. The compound key is that when the key cap is pressed, the bridge contact moves downward, so that the normally closed contact is disconnected first, and then the normally open contact is closed; When loosening the key cap, normally open normally open contacts are disconnected and reset first, and then normally open contacts are closed and reset.
Third, how to install the control button switch
1, installation location
When installing the brand control button, first measure the diameter of the button thread, drill the installation hole on the control panel, exit the button nut, extend the button threaded column from the back of the control panel, adjust the stop on the threaded column to a proper position, and then screw the button onto the threaded column from the front of the control panel and tighten it.
When the buttons are installed on the panel, they should be arranged neatly and reasonably. According to the starting sequence of motors, they can be arranged from top to bottom or from left to right.
Several different working states of moving parts of the same equipment, including up and down, back and forth, left and right, tightness, etc. , you need to install each pair of buttons with opposite states together.
In order to deal with emergencies, when multiple buttons are installed on the button board, the red mushroom head button is used as the general stop button and installed in a conspicuous and easy-to-operate place.
2. Install the wiring
Under normal circumstances, a button always has a pair of moving contacts and a pair of moving contacts. Before connection, use multimeter to electrically block and distinguish the corresponding contacts.
The exception is that some have two pairs of contacts with indicator lights, so you need to pay more attention when wiring.
The button plate and button box for installing buttons must be made of metal and connected to the general grounding bus of the equipment as far as possible. For the hanging buckle, a special grounding wire must be provided, and a metal tube shall not be used as the grounding wire.
Four, button switch installation matters needing attention
1. When installing buttons on the panel, arrange them neatly and reasonably, such as from top to bottom or from left to right according to the starting sequence of the motor. The distance between adjacent buttons is 50 ~100 mm.
2. Several different working states of the same equipment parts (up, down, front, back, left, right, loose, tight, etc.). ) Each pair of buttons in the opposite state should be installed in a group. Use the red button to stop, and the green or black button to start or power on. Don't make mistakes.
3. In order to deal with emergencies, when there are many buttons on the panel, the general stop button should be installed in a conspicuous and easy-to-operate place, and it is best to use the red mushroom head button or make obvious marks.
4. Because the button contact spacing is small, if there is oil pollution, it is easy to cause short circuit fault, so the contacts should be kept clean.
5. The button plate and button box for installing the button must be metal, and try to connect with the total grounding bus of the machine tool. For hanging buttons, a special grounding wire must be provided, and a metal tube shall not be used as the grounding wire.
6. When the button is used in high-temperature occasions, it is easy to loosen the plastic due to deformation and aging, resulting in short circuit between wiring screws. A set of insulating plastic pipes can be added to the wiring screws to prevent short circuit.
7. The button with indicator light is easy to deform the plastic lampshade due to the heat of the bulb, so the bulb voltage should be reduced to prolong the service life.
8. The stop button must be red; The "emergency stop" button must be a red mushroom head; The "Start" button must have a protective buckle, which should be higher than the button head to prevent accidental touch caused by misoperation of electrical equipment.
