Hebei University of Technology does not have a medical school.
Hebei University of Technology, formerly known as Beiyang Polytechnic School, was founded in 1903. It is one of the earliest colleges and universities in my country to cultivate industrial talents, and founded the country's earliest university-run factory. In 1929, it was renamed Hebei Provincial Institute of Technology, and in 1995, it was renamed Hebei University of Technology.
In 1996, the school was among the first batch of national “211 Project” key construction universities; in 2014, it was established by Hebei Province, Tianjin Municipality and the Ministry of Education; in 2017, it was selected as a national “double first-class” construction university . Over the past 118 years, the school has always adhered to the school-running tradition of "Serving the Country through Work" and the school motto of "Diligence, Prudence and Public Loyalty", forming a school-running feature of "emphasis on both work and study", and has trained more than 300,000 outstanding graduates for the country.
Scientific research achievements:
During the “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan” period, the school presided over 21 major national key projects, more than 400 National Natural Science Foundation projects, authorized more than 2,700 patents, and was approved by the National Among the first batch of intellectual property pilot universities, it ranks 70th among the top 100 patent universities in China.
The first "Yuanguang" small satellite successfully flew into space aboard the Long March 8 carrier rocket and is operating in orbit. The high-performance robot tactile sensing intelligent system was selected into the 2020 "Science and Technology Innovation China" leading technology list.
