Chapter 1 General Principles
Article 1 is to fully implement the Party’s education policy, encourage students to study hard, develop in an all-round way morally, intellectually, physically and aesthetically, and cultivate “moral character” These regulations are specially formulated to provide high-quality talents with excellent, solid foundation, broad knowledge and profound professionalism to realize our school’s school-running philosophy of “characteristics and quality”.
Article 2 All full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students who study in our school and obtain formal student status, and meet the following basic conditions, can apply for the assessment of advanced individual students.
1. Love the motherland, support the leadership of the Communist Party of China, be honest and trustworthy, and have good moral character.
2. Love school, consciously implement national laws and regulations and school systems, maintain social morality, behave in a civilized manner, and have not received any punishment during this school year.
3. Love the major you study, study diligently, and have no failing marks in the examinations and examinations of all courses (including elective courses) during the year.
4. Care about the collective, respect teachers, unite classmates, and actively participate in physical exercises.
Fifth and first-year students do not participate in the selection.

Chapter 2 Award Settings and Selection Conditions
Article 4 Classification of advanced individual students and advanced collectives 1. Comprehensive category: including the top ten undergraduates, top ten postgraduates, Three good students, outstanding student leaders and self-improvement stars of the university.
2. Individual category: including model of academic style, model of literature and art, model of sports, model of public welfare, model of scientific and technological innovation and model of social practice.
3. Group category: including outstanding class groups, top ten class groups, outstanding student dormitories, and top ten student dormitories.
Article 5 Selection Conditions
1. Comprehensive Category
(1) Top Ten Undergraduate Students
Top Ten Undergraduate Students of DiDa University It is the highest honor at the school level for undergraduates, referred to as "Top Ten Undergraduates". Undergraduate students who meet the following conditions can apply:
1. Recommended as one of the three good students or outstanding student cadres that year.
2. Ranked among the top three in this grade and major in the comprehensive quality assessment during the academic year.
3. The moral quality score is excellent.
4. Have excellent academic performance and outstanding performance in any aspect such as literature and art, sports, social practice or scientific and technological innovation.
5. Have experience as a student leader during the undergraduate period.
6. Have good interpersonal relationships.
(2) Top Ten Graduate Students
The Top Ten Graduate Students of CUHK is the highest honor at the school level for graduate students, referred to as the "Top Ten Graduate Students". Postgraduate students who meet the following conditions can apply:
1. During the postgraduate stage, students should have positive and progressive thoughts, correct learning attitude, conscientiously complete study and scientific research tasks, have a good academic style and scientific research style, and achieve excellent results in study and scientific research work. There may be outstanding progress in performance.
(1) Postgraduate students in the course study stage: The main test is whether they can complete all the courses arranged in the first academic year of the training plan on time, and have excellent results in all subjects; under the same conditions, scientific research, sports, literature and art, and public welfare Priority will be given to those with outstanding achievements in various activities such as volunteer service and social practice.
(2) Graduate students entering the thesis writing stage: mainly check whether the progress of the dissertation is normal and whether the achievements in scientific research are outstanding. Specifically examine the quality and quantity of published papers, whether they have won science and technology awards at the provincial or ministerial level or above, whether they have invention patents, whether their scientific research work has created direct economic benefits, and whether they have achieved other innovative results.
2. Master’s or doctoral degree applicants have experience as student leaders at the corresponding stage.
3. Be recommended as the title of Three Good Students or Outstanding Student Leaders that year, or receive other school-level honorary titles.
4. Actively participate in social practice, sports, literature and art and other activities.
5. Those who have recognized outstanding achievements in social work, culture, sports and other fields, are proactive and progressive, and perform well in academic and scientific research can be given priority.
(3) Three good students
1. Ranked among the top three in the class in the overall quality assessment during the academic year.
2. The moral quality score is excellent.
3. The average academic score is above 85 points, and the score in a single subject is no less than 70 points.
4. Postgraduate students will mainly evaluate their achievements in study, scientific research, thesis and other aspects on the basis of meeting the second basic condition.
5. Have good interpersonal relationships.
(4) Outstanding student cadres
1. Actively demand progress and have high ideological and political quality.
2. Have strong work ability and service awareness, have outstanding work achievements, and be rated as outstanding in the annual student cadre assessment.
3. Be proactive, care for classmates, have a strong sense of responsibility, have a pioneering and innovative spirit, have a strong influence among students, and have good interpersonal relationships.
4. The term of office shall be at least one year.
5. The overall quality assessment during the academic year is within the top 30 in the class (graduate students are not subject to this condition).
(5) Earth-based self-improvement star
1. Good political and ideological quality, integrity, aggressiveness, and optimism.
2. Possess the excellent qualities of thrift, honesty, trustworthiness, and willingness to help others.
3. Have a correct learning attitude and a good study style. The grades last school year were above 10 in this grade and major.
4. The family has financial difficulties, but has the courage to overcome financial or other difficulties, shows tenacious perseverance and hard work and enterprising spirit, and has outstanding achievements.
2. Individual Category
(1) Model of Study Style
1. Study hard, have strong learning ability, serve as a role model among classmates, and be able to lead classmates *** progress together.
2. Have a correct learning attitude and high attendance rate in class.
3. Excellent in both character and study, with excellent scores in all subjects, with an average score of 90 points, and a single subject score of no less than 80 points.
4. Juniors and seniors must pass CET-4 in one go. Those with excellent scores in CET-4 or those who pass CET-6 will be given priority.
5. Priority will be given to those who have achieved outstanding results in school-level and above studies, science and technology competitions or subject competitions.
6. Priority will be given to publishing papers in publicly available academic journals.
(2) Literary and Art Model
1. Have at least one outstanding literary and artistic talent, and actively participate in the literary and artistic activities organized by the school and play a leading role.
2. Outstanding performance in artistic performances or competitions at all levels.
3. With equal conditions, winners at the provincial, ministerial or national level will be given priority.
(3) Sports pacesetter
1. Have outstanding sports talents, actively participate in sports activities organized by the school, and play a leading role.
2. Win honors for the school in various levels of sports competitions.
(4) Public Welfare Models
1. Those who actively and enthusiastically devote themselves to campus and social welfare undertakings, volunteer services, etc. and have outstanding performance.
2. Those who have outstanding performance in one academic year in terms of bravery, helping others, collecting money, caring for public property, emergency rescue and disaster relief, maintaining campus order, and voluntary labor.
(5) Model of scientific and technological innovation
1. Undergraduate students
(1) Have outstanding innovation awareness and ability, actively invest in innovative scientific research, Take the lead.
(2) Those who have outstanding performance and achieved outstanding results in various scientific and technological innovation activities and competitions.
2. Graduate students
Applicants have outstanding academic and scientific research achievements during their studies and meet one of the following conditions:
(1) Postgraduate students in science and engineering: at least 1 doctoral student There should be no less than 2 papers included in SCI (first author) in core journals; master students should have at least 1 paper (first author) included in three major indexes.
(2) Postgraduate students in liberal arts (arts, management, economics, law, education): doctoral students must publish at least 4 papers in core journals, and master students must publish at least 2 papers in core journals.
(3) Participated in National Natural Science Foundation projects, National Social Science Foundation projects, “863” Program projects, and national research projects as major participants (top five in the project contract list); or undertook He has participated in provincial and ministerial level (science and technology development projects assigned by the science and technology departments) projects, as well as other equivalent projects. The project has achieved phased results and published papers publicly as the first author.
(4) Obtain provincial, ministerial level (or equivalent) and above science and technology awards, rank among the top five achievers and rank first among students.
(5) Obtain an authorized patent as the first inventor.
(6) Scientific research work creates direct economic benefits.
(7) There are other important innovative results in other forms.
(6) Social Practice Model
1. Have a strong sense of social responsibility and actively participate in social practice activities and play a leading role.
2. Use vacations or internships to actively carry out activities such as survey research, scientific and technological poverty alleviation, and "three rural areas", with outstanding achievements and social influence.
3. Have excellent results reports.
3. Group Category
(1) Outstanding Class Group
The selection criteria refer to the "China University of Geosciences (Beijing) Class Group Assessment and Evaluation Method for Achieving Standards and Creating Excellence" (Xuexuefa [2011] No. 9).
(2) Top Ten Classes
The selection criteria refer to the "China University of Geosciences (Beijing) Class Collective Assessment and Evaluation Methods for Achieving Standards and Creating Excellence" (School Xuefa [2011] No. 9) .
(3) Outstanding Student Dormitory
Student dormitories that meet the following conditions in the participating year can apply:
1. Dormitory members have harmonious, friendly relationships and strong cohesion.
2. Dormitory members have a strong learning atmosphere, good grades, and no failing records.
3. There is a corresponding dormitory management agreement and it is well implemented.
4. The dormitory environmental sanitation score is good, with an average score of above 80 points.
5. Students in the dormitory must abide by the student apartment management regulations and have no violations of regulations or disciplines. There is no smoking in the dormitory building, illegal use of electrical appliances and dangerous goods, etc.
(4) Top Ten Student Dormitories
Student dormitories that meet the following conditions in the participating year can apply:
1. Meet the basic conditions for excellent dormitories.
2. The average score of students in the dormitory is above 80 points.
3. The passing rate of CET-4 for junior and senior students is 100.
4. The average score of dormitory environmental sanitation is above 85 points.
5. Students in dormitories who have achieved outstanding results in school-level studies and science and technology competitions will be given priority.
6. The dormitory is warm, comfortable and distinctive, and will be given priority under the same conditions.
Article 6 Selection Quota
1. Top Ten Undergraduate Students: ***10 in the entire school.
2. Top ten graduate students: ***10 in the entire school.
3. Three good students: the evaluation ratio shall not exceed 5 of the number of participating students.
4. Outstanding student cadres: the evaluation ratio shall not exceed 10 of the number of student cadres participating in the evaluation.
5. Earthly Self-Strengthening Star: Top 10 in the whole school.
6. Single Category: The sum of all types of pacesetters shall not exceed 1 of the number of participating students.
7. Outstanding class collective: the evaluation ratio shall not exceed 10 of the total number of participating classes.
8. Excellent student dormitories: the evaluation ratio shall not exceed 2 of the total number of participating student dormitories.
9. Top ten class groups and top ten student dormitories: 10 each.
Article 7 Prize Amount
1. The top ten undergraduate students and the top ten graduate students will be awarded 1,000 yuan.
Two or three good students and outstanding student leaders will receive 500 yuan.
3. The earth self-improvement star is 800 yuan.
4. The fee for individual items is 500 yuan.
5. 1,000 yuan for the outstanding class, 1,500 yuan for the top ten classes, 500 yuan for the outstanding student dormitory, and 800 yuan for the top ten student dormitory.
Article 8 Bonus Distribution
1. Comprehensive awards can have both honors, but the bonus will be based on the one with the highest amount.
2. In the selection of individual awards, both honors can be obtained, and bonuses can also be issued repeatedly.
3. Those who win both comprehensive and individual awards can win both honors, and the bonus will be awarded according to the one with the highest amount.
4. Both honors can be obtained in collective awards, but the bonus will be based on the one with the highest amount.
Chapter 3 Selection Procedure
Article 9 Selection of Comprehensive Awards and Individual Awards
1. Students apply to the counselor of the college. Class committees and party and youth league branches of each class use the academic quality assessment as the basic basis, and based on extensive listening to the opinions of classmates, teachers, etc., propose a recommendation list (generated from the list of applying students) through a joint meeting, and organize the application materials .
2. After review and appraisal by counselors, tutors and the academic and engineering team of the college, the academic and engineering team leader of the college agrees and announces it, and reports it to the Student Affairs Office for review.
3. Finally, the application shall be submitted to the school’s student affairs leadership group for review and approval by the supervisor, and shall be publicized throughout the school.
Article 10 Selection of collective awards
1. The selection of outstanding class groups and top ten class groups shall be based on the "China University of Geosciences (Beijing) Class Groups Achievement Standards and Excellence Assessment and Evaluation Methods" 》(Xuexuefa [2011] No. 9) was carried out. For the selection of outstanding student dormitories and top ten student dormitories, all members of the dormitory apply to the college. The counselor, together with the college youth league branch, college student branch and other relevant parties, propose a recommendation list (generated from the list of dormitory applicants) according to the prescribed conditions and write Submit detailed deeds and identification materials, obtain approval from the academic and engineering team leader of the college and make them public, and submit them to the Student Affairs Office for review.
2. After being reviewed by the Student Affairs Office, it will be reported to the school’s student affairs leadership group for review and approval by the supervisor, and will be publicized throughout the school.
Chapter 4 Supplementary Provisions
Article 11 Students’ advanced individuals and advanced collectives will be evaluated once every academic year. Based on the comprehensive performance evaluation of the students in the academic year, the evaluation time is generally arranged in ten Mid-month.
Article 12 If fraud, favoritism, etc. occur during the selection process, once verified, the certificate and bonus will be withdrawn, the qualification for excellence during the school period will be cancelled, and serious handling will be carried out in accordance with the relevant regulations of the school.
Article 13 These regulations will come into effect on September 1, 2012, and the Student Affairs Office will be responsible for interpretation.
