Who is the authentic Lai Mao?
At present, there are Lai Mao's products on the market, which have something to do with Lai Jia. Whether Lai Mao is authentic or not ultimately depends on which manufacturer the patent of Lai Mao wine formula belongs to and who legally uses the trademark of Lai Mao. At the end of Qing Dynasty, Lai's ancestors opened a hotel in Maotai Village. Brewing famous "Lai Mao" wine at home and abroad is the source of the brand. In the early 1980s (1983), Lai Shilun, a direct descendant of Lai Shilun, got together with the ancients to rebuild the winery. At that time, the name of the winery was "China Kweichow Moutai Hengxiang Distillery" (later established Guizhou Huilai Liquor Co., Ltd.) and began to produce "Laimao" brand liquor. As the earliest enterprise to use the trademark of "Lai Mao", the winery applied for the trademark of "Lai Mao" on 1984 according to the provisions of the national trademark law, and obtained the approval of the local industrial and commercial bureau. After four years of examination and approval, the trademark "Lai Mao" applied by Mr. Lai Shilun, the founder of 1988, passed the preliminary examination in the State Trademark Office and entered the announcement procedure. Later, due to the objection raised by Kweichow Moutai Distillery, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce finally rejected the application for "Lai Mao" trademark on the grounds of "trademark similarity". 1990, the State Administration awarded the trademark "Laimao" to Kweichow Moutai Distillery. According to this, it can be concluded that before 1990, only one enterprise legally used the "Lai Mao" trademark. Since then, Kweichow Moutai Distillery, the actual owner of the trademark "Lai Mao", has never produced liquor with the trademark of "Lai Mao" again, and according to relevant regulations, the trademark holder must reapply for not using the trademark within three years, so the word "Lai Mao" is used as a common word by many wineries, among which the manufacturers and products are mixed. The mixture of good and bad has caused the extremely chaotic situation in the current Lai Mao wine market. Mr. Lai applied for and obtained trademarks such as "Lai" and "Frye" on 1988, which are still in use today. Using Lai's ancient prescription to brew "Frye" brand high-quality maotai-flavor wine, so as to distinguish it from other products with "Lai" trademark. Ensure the rights and interests of consumers who know these situations, and drink high-quality maotai-flavor wine brewed by Lai's ancient formula. About patents: Mr. Lai and his only son, Mr. Lai Ding, strictly abide by the traditional family craft and carefully brew a large number of high-quality Lai Mao wines, which have won high praise in the market. 1986, based on his family's traditional craft, Mr. Lai applied for an invention patent: "New Technology for Producing Laimao Liquor by Re-cellar Method" (PatentNo.: 86 1 02779.5). After four years of repeated sampling inspection by the China Patent Office, it was found that the content of n-butanol and ethyl lactate in the imported wine was significantly higher than that in the exported Maotai (Tian Fei Maotai), and was finally awarded the national title. Later, because Kweichow Moutai Distillery raised an objection to the patent, it was cancelled. In view of this, we have reason to believe that Mr. Lai and his son, Mr. Lai Ding, are the only heirs of Lai's ancestors' ancient brewing formula. There are strict restrictions on vintage wines in the world. According to the law, wines stored in oak barrels for more than two and a half years can be called VO and VS, wines stored for more than four and a half years can be called VSOP and wines stored for more than six and a half years can be called XO. For example, Louis XIII of remy martin Company has been drinking for more than 40 years. At the same time, foreign countries also allow wines of different storage years to be mixed with each other. In China, Maotai Group took the lead in launching the "vintage wine" system in the 1990s, and in 2004, it launched 65,438+vintage wine products in 05, 30, 50 and 80 years. "vintage wine" comes from the blending process of maotai-flavor wine "wine and wine", that is to say, the old wine stored in different years is blended with the wine body stored for 3-4 years in a certain proportion to make the finished wine. In this way, the quality of Maotai-flavor wine produced by this method depends on the base wine and the blended old wine that plays a key role! The highest quality grade of Frye wine is only 30 years (the factory age is 30 years), which is exactly the quality requirement that Frye and Maotai Distillery follow. The same example also appeared in the newly launched "Yongfu Maotai-flavor Liquor" of Wuliangye Group. Its products did not have the concept of vintage wine like its Luzhou-flavor liquor, so such a frank attitude was also highly praised by Frye!
